Read More →When I became a mom, I thought our city-exploring days were over. Two kids and eight years later, I've learned the opposite is true: New York City is one of the best places in the world to raise curious, adventurous children. You just need to know where to look.
Modern Mom Advice started as a shared Google Doc between me and a few mom friends. We'd trade tips on free things to do in New York, which museum cafeterias actually had decent food, and the parks where you could find a clean bathroom (the real intel). It grew from there.
Every recommendation on this site has been tested by real families. If we say a restaurant is stroller-friendly, it's because we've wrestled a double stroller through the door ourselves. If we say a museum is worth the admission, it's because our kids asked to go back.
